Considering that usury is something that is difficult to avoid in everyday muamalah, so understanding usury from a definitional perspective is not enough, we need to understand further regarding the explanation regarding usury. This type of research is literary (library), so the researcher then displays data from several books and other sources supported by primary sources. This research uses an inductive method, in this method the researcher explains the nature of usury in particular and concludes it in a description, the deductive method, in this method the researcher explains how the effect of usury then concludes in a description, and the descriptive method in this case the researcher concludes what can you get from these two methods? As a result of this research, Imam Ar-Rozi explained that usury makes humans tend to be reluctant to improve economic welfare.
